The Casting Technician is an entry-level position responsible for performing mold making, cast knockout, and cast cleaning operations within the gold and platinum areas.
This role receives on-the-job training to support essential casting processes in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Document investing operations and maintain accurate process records.
Operate AutoVest investing machines and high-pressure water blast equipment.
Perform quench, knockout, and cleaning functions for gold and platinum castings.
Assist area managers with daily production tasks and support workflow.
Cross-train in casting, clipping, and other work cells to support production needs.
Apply LEAN manufacturing concepts to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
Handle and use cleaning chemicals safely, following all safety protocols.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas through routine housekeeping.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to function safely in an industrial environment.
Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple job sets during a single shift.
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
