Join our Customer Experience team and be part of a dynamic environment where you’ll help jewelers worldwide create unforgettable moments for their customers! The CAM Sales department partners with clients, CAD Operators, and CAM Manufacturing to bring custom jewelry designs to life. They manage design adjustments, troubleshoot challenges, and ensure a smooth, collaborative process from concept to completion – all while delivering an outstanding customer experience.
The CAM Customer Support Trainee focuses on guiding customers through custom orders, handling communication, and managing order details to ensure accuracy and efficiency at every step.
Key Responsibilities:
Program/ System Utilization
- Develop a basic understanding of custom jewelry, including design and production standards
- Establish introductory knowledge of the CAD/CAM workflow
- Gain initial experience in utilizing web-based applications and order management systems to accurately submit and process basic custom orders
- Maintain accurate notes for basic custom projects, documenting changes and project progress
- Organize the workload to prioritize the needs of both the customers and the department
- Communicate effectively with colleagues internally, within CAD/CAM, and across various departments within the company, to streamline processes
Customer Communication
- Communicate with customers via inbound/outbound calls, email, and chat
- Assist customers through the customization ordering process to ensure an exceptional customer experience
- Address inquiries related to basic custom designs, including materials, pricing, and production and delivery timelines
- Monitor order progress and provide updates to customers as needed
- Provide prompt and professional communication both internally and externally, fostering positive relationships
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Intermediate computer skills, including the ability to perform more complex tasks and operate software programs
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on patience, attentiveness, and clear communication
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail in all tasks, ensuring precision and quality in work outputs
- Proven adaptability to changing environments, able to quickly adjust priorities and approaches as needed
- Adept at problem-solving, utilizing critical thinking and analytical skills to address challenges efficiently and effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Higher education or relevant certification
- 1+ year or more of customer service, sales, and/or order entry experience
- Experience in the jewelry industry or jewelry knowledge
