Position Description:
- Join our dynamic team and take on the challenge of supporting client-specific development of our client's cutting-edge BI solution.
- We are seeking an experienced Azure Databricks Administrator to join our team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Azure Databricks environment, ensuring seamless data processing and analytics operations.
- Must be a US Citizen or GC Holder.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Manage and administer Azure Databricks environments, including cluster configuration, scaling, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to optimize data pipelines and workflows.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to the Azure Databricks environment.
- Provide support and training to users on best practices and efficient use of Databricks.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years' experience as an Azure Databricks Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services and Databricks platform.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or SQL.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques
