Position Description:

  • Join our dynamic team and take on the challenge of supporting client-specific development of our client's cutting-edge BI solution.
  • We are seeking an experienced Azure Databricks Administrator to join our team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Azure Databricks environment, ensuring seamless data processing and analytics operations.
  • Must be a US Citizen or GC Holder.


Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage and administer Azure Databricks environments, including cluster configuration, scaling, and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate with data engineers and data scientists to optimize data pipelines and workflows.
  • Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to the Azure Databricks environment.
  • Provide support and training to users on best practices and efficient use of Databricks.


Qualifications:

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years' experience as an Azure Databricks Administrator or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services and Databricks platform.
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or SQL.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.


Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:

  • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques
