Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean, assemble, and test various flanges, spools, blocks, and assemblies per appropriate written procedures.
• Interpret multiple component assembly prints to prepare proper equipment needed for assembly.
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot assembly and test issues independently.
• Review and verify test pressures and requirements per job.
• Perform hydrostatic testing using water at ambient temperature.
• Check and verify quality standards and results for product being tested.
• During a test failure, detect possible cause. (example: product leakage or pump issue.)
• When test is successful, remove test fixtures and return them to their proper location.
• Organize and maintain a safe and clean work area at all times.
• Clean and preserve all test fixtures/flanges for storage between jobs.
• Assist with other job duties when nessesary with direction from Quality Manager
• This position may be hired through a staffing agency for a period of time.

Salary Range: $18 - $22 /hr DOE

Qualifications:

Education Required:

• High school diploma or GED

Experience Required:

• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate.

Working Conditions:

• This job is performed outside in our shop and inventory areas.
• While there is covering you will be exposed to the outside elements.
• This job also requires you to be on your feet for long periods of time.
