Apartment Maintenance Technician Overview:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• Weekend work required
• Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
• Perform upkeep of property
• Touch up painting
• Replace light bulbs, air filters, and batteries in smoke alarms
• Install blinds
• Change locks on doors
• Move appliances using a dolly
• Perform electrical, plumbing, and HVAC work
• Performing routine maintenance and repairs on apartment buildings and grounds
• Perform other duties as assigned and at the discretion of management

Salary Range: $18/hour

Qualifications:

Apartment Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

• HVAC certification preferred
• 3 years experience doing Apartment or Housing Authority Maintenance work
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry systems and repairs.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
• Required to lift at least 30 pounds
• Must provide updated resume
• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
