Position Description:
- CGI is seeking a talented and passionate AI Developer to join our team and play a key role in developing and maintaining our next-generation AI applications.
- You will be responsible for the entire NLP development lifecycle, from designing and training NLP models to integrating them into our existing systems.
- This position is located in our Lafayette, LA office or our Knoxville, Tn, Lebanon, VA, or Belton, TX office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and train Natural Language Processing (NLP) models for various applications.
- Perform data analysis and feature engineering to prepare data for NLP models.
- Evaluate and improve the performance of NLP models through experimentation and optimization.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in AI and NLP technologies.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure NLP solutions meet user needs.
- Document and maintain code effectively.
Qualifications:
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (or Bachelor's degree with relevant experience).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in developing and deploying AI applications, with a strong focus on NLP.
- Strong proficiency in Python and popular AI libraries like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of Scrum principles, roles, artifacts, and ceremonies.
- Proven experience in facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching teams.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build trust and rapport with team members at all levels.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) a plus.
- Certified Scrum Master
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:
- Experience working as a Scum Master in the Federal environment.
