SchoolMint is seeking an entry level Accounting Intern for our Accounts Receivable department.
This position will report to the Revenue Accountant.
This is an exciting opportunity to learn accounting from the ground-up, develop skills and gain experience that will serve as the basis for an Accounting career in the tech industry.
Responsibilities:
Invoice customer per contract terms
Perform weekly collection calls/emails to customers regarding outstanding balances
Monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payments
Respond to all customers inquiries in a professional and timely manner and escalate as needed
Deposit checks and/or apply payments
Assist with the interim and annual audits, as needed
Other duties as assigned
