• Cut, shape, and weld metal components to create structures, bridges, and other projects.
• Analyze structures to ensure they meet quality standards and inspect completed welds for defect.

Salary Range: $27.00 +

Qualifications:

• Ability to provide welding certificate
• Ability to read blueprints
• Experienced offshore welders must successfully pass a 6GR pipe welding test using E6010 and E7018 electrodes.
• Experience with MIG and TIG welding
• Knowledge of different types of metal and their properties
• Less experienced welders must successfully pass 3G and 4G plate welding tests using E6010 and E7018 electrodes.
• Fitter applicants should have experience with measuring, layout, fitting, and fabrication.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
