  • Our Traditional Manufacturing team refines jewelry using tools and machinery, ensuring quality through precise assembly, polishing, and inspection.
  • The Traditional Manufacturing Manager's primary role is to guide their teams in producing the highest quality products efficiently and cost-effectively, under the leadership of the Sr Director of Wax-CAM Operations and Traditional Manufacturing.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote "Lean" initiatives and methodologies among all team members.
  • Ensure team members have the necessary equipment and supplies to complete their tasks.
  • Oversee timely start-up and shutdown of operations at the beginning and end of shifts, including after breaks.
  • Distribute work assignments and monitor the quality and efficiency of team output.
  • Manage daily payroll exceptions and maintain the monthly attendance calendar, providing updates to Coordinators as needed.
  • Oversee new product and repair product test batches.
  • Provide performance coaching to team members at regular intervals.
  • Coordinate cross-training for team members in additional job functions as workload demands.


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in tasks requiring manual dexterity and close-range detail observation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel
  • Patience and open-mindedness.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of LEAN manufacturing and/or the Shingo Model
  • Knowledge of jewelry and jewelry manufacturing processes
