Description:

  • The position of Software Developer is responsible for all aspects of the software development lifecycle related to internal systems, processes, and flagship software applications under the leadership of the Software Development Lead.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in all phases of software development with a focus on supporting and improving flagship software applications and other critical systems.
  • Discuss, research, and implement fixes and/or features to applications while working with the Software QA team to meet all expectations of feature additions.
  • Articulate workflows, bug fixes, and other improvements with demonstrations or associated documentation.
  • Show an affinity for creating and improving software and be willing to collaborate with other developers and supporting team members on implementation strategies.
  • Communicate daily progress and interact with other areas of the business.


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in an object-related programming language, such as C#, Python, or Java.
  • Familiar or proficient in Computer-aided Design (CAD) - preferably Rhinoceros.
  • Effective communication skills regarding project requirements and conveying technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable in a collaborative, team-focused environment for support and knowledge share.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college with a major in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Two to five years of CAD related experience and/or training.
  • Proficient in C# and Python.
  • Demonstrates adept communication abilities, excels within collaborative settings, and possesses the capacity to lead intricate technical dialogues effectively.
