Position Description:

• We're seeking a talented Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team.
• You'll work across the entire software development lifecycle, collaborating closely with solution architects, data scientists, and other engineers to deliver innovative solutions.
• As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing emerging solutions, creating prototypes, and integrating AI technologies within cloud environments.
• This position's preferred location is Lafayette, LA, Lebanon, VA, Belton, TX, Knoxville, TN or Fairfax, VA; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
• Due to the nature of this government contract, US Citizenship is required.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable software applications using a variety of technologies.
• Work on both client-side and server-side development tasks.
• Package and deploy applications using containerization technologies.
• Collaborate with the prototyping team to design and develop scalable solutions.
• Implement front-end and back-end development tasks for web applications.
• Integrate AI technologies in Azure and AWS environments.
• Ensure seamless functionality and user experience across platforms.
• Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in AI integration and full stack development.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information systems or related field, OR substantial and demonstrable industry experience in lieu of degree.
• At least 5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
• Proven experience coding in Python (experience in additional languages a plus)
• Experience with core data science libraries in Python.
• Familiarity with package managers and test frameworks
• Knowledge of Python web frameworks like Flask or Django a plus
• Proficiency with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (Bitbucket, Jenkins, Gitlab).
• Knowledge or experience in DevOps support and deployment including Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, CICD is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
• Strong back-end development skills with proficiency in languages like Python and .Net using JSON data format, along with understanding of designing and building APIs.
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Azure and AWS.
• Familiarity with database management systems (SQL and NoSQL).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and strong verbal & written communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of an agile team (Scrum / Kanban), as well as the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Due to the nature of this government contract, US Citizenship is required.
• Knowledge of AI technologies and their integration into web applications a plus.
