Position Description:

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and testing, as well as extensive knowledge of business analysis methodologies.
• As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our software solutions by conducting thorough testing and analysis.
• The ideal candidate also has strong writing and communication skills, ability to learn technical concepts, and is able to build relationships with both their team members and clients.
• This position is located in our Lafayette LA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, ensuring alignment with quality standards and objectives.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate system functionality and performance.
• Conduct thorough testing of software solutions, identifying and documenting defects, and working with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Utilize automated testing tooling to implement automated tests.
• Perform root cause analysis of defects and provide recommendations for process improvements.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in quality assurance and testing.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on quality assurance and testing.
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems.
• Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
