Description:

  • Stuller, Inc. is the largest jewelry manufacturing and distribution facility in the United States and an industry leader in the domestic and international jewelry sectors.  
  • The position of Quality Management Product Specialist is responsible for inspecting and reviewing products from inventory and production, assuring each meets Stuller and customer standards. Results are recorded and communicated to internal and external customers, using Salesforce software.
  • Product Specialists collaborate with other members of the Quality Management team and other Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) throughout the Company, under the leadership of the Product Specialist Manager.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Inspect jewelry items using a loupe, microscope, or Optivisor
  • Measure and weigh jewelry using precision tools, such as caliper, mandrel and digital scale.
  • Determine if items are within standards using SOPs and through consultation with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Communicate with internal and external customers using CRM software (Salesforce), instant message (Microsoft Teams), email, telephone, and via in- person and virtual meetings.
  • Review items in production (WIP) and communicate specific needs and requirements to ensure the results meet internal standards and customer expectations.
  • Create and deliver presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma (college education a plus)
  • Ability to use a computer to communicate results
  • Productive independent worker
  • Positive, collaborative nature
  • Analytical thinker with ability to make decisions based on data, research and observations.
  • Ability to hold and study small objects
  • Organized self starter capable of completing varied tasks in an organized manner without direct instruction.


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience inspecting or reviewing small items, such as jewelry
  • Quick learner capable of learning multiple systems and technologies quickly.
  • Excellent communicator capable of approaching and communicating verbally with leaders, peers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
  • Understanding of LEAN manufacturing and/or the Shingo Model a plus.
