Description:

  • Stuller, Inc. is the largest jewelry manufacturing and distribution facility in the United States and an industry leader in the domestic and international jewelry sectors.  
  • The position of Quality Management Fix- It Team Manager? is responsible for managing a small group of tenured Metalsmiths responsible for recovery and repair of time sensitive pieces, assuring the highest standard of quality.
  • The team also completes proactive projects to prevent future complications, in concert with other members of the Quality Management Team, under the leadership of the Quality Management Director.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Organize and distribute work to Fix- It Team Metalsmiths.
  • Coordinate with other departments to obtain and process work.
  • Inspect completed work using a microscope, visor, and/or loupe.
  • Update CRM software (Salesforce) with details of work completed.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Quality Management and Manufacturing teams to ensure root cause is understood and problems are addressed.
  • Coach Metalsmiths on progress and goals using monthly meetings.
  • Lead weekly team huddles and attend other department meetings.


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma (college education a plus)
  • At least two years experience in the following skills:
  • Leadership or organization of multiple employees
  • Organizing and prioritizing workflow
  • Problem solving and root cause analysis
  • Productive independent worker
  • Positive, collaborative nature


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Understanding of LEAN manufacturing and/or the Shingo Model
  • Experience inspecting or reviewing small items, such as jewelry
  • Quick learner capable of learning multiple systems and terminologies quickly.
  • Experience in the jewelry industry a plus.
