The position of Model Maker Apprentice is responsible for providing the manufacturing process with the highest quality, detailed master which meets our vigorous production standards under the leadership of the Model Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute basic soldering tasks
Utilize basic bench tools (flex shaft, torch, etc.) to finalize work orders
Maintain knowledge of chemicals at the bench and workstation
Identify defects in cast products like pits, shrinkage, or incomplete casts
Demonstrate a basic understanding of the manufacturing process
Acquire additional skills such as detailing of masters, interpreting designs, and understanding sprue placement and its effects on casting
