  • By providing a holistic, personalized view of every enterprise asset throughout its lifecycle, Sunflower Assets significantly improves organization-wide asset management and internal controls.
  • Sunflower Assets works to substantiate financial reporting, improve utilization, and ensure maximum accountability and proper stewardship of all enterprise assets.
  • This position is located in our Lafayette, LA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.


Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • The Application Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining both new and existing applications.
  • Whether you're troubleshooting a software defect, enhancing an existing application or developing a new solution you should be able to dig into frameworks and libraries to deliver coherent solutions in line with the overall architecture of the application landscape.
  • The successful candidate will be a member of a high-performing multi-site agile team and must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
  • The successful candidate must have demonstrated effective communication skills.


Qualifications:

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Academic background in computer science, computer engineering or a similar major with extensive computer-based or technical content
  • Experience with C#, Java, JavaScript, REST, JSON, SQL
  • Experience of developing native mobile application on Android and iOS platforms
  • Ability to bring projects to completion in a timely manner
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to learn and understand the nature of business
  • Able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative agile environment.
  • Strong commitment to quality
  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 to 5+ years of experience


Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required:

  • Angular, PL/SQL, VB.Net, C++, HTML, XML, Xamarin-Forms, MAUI
  • Docker, Kubernetes, Postman, Bootstrap
  • Visual Studio, IntelliJ Idea, VS Code
  • JIRA, Confluence, GitHub/Bitbucket
  • ERP Software experience
  • Using Microservices Architecture for REST based web services
  • Experience with Agile software development projects
  • Due to the nature of this government contract, US Citizenship is required.
