The position of Machine Operator is responsible for the knowledge and operation of multiple pieces of automatic and manual equipment involved in the manufacturing of jewelry items.
Key Responsibilities:
Adhere to company attendance policies satisfactorily.
Operate and maintain multiple pieces of automatic and manual equipment.
Cross-train in various areas to address seasonal demands.
Provide input on enhancing job efficiency and effectiveness.
Maintain accountability for work-in-progress (WIP) jobs.
Work in a safety-conscious manner throughout all tasks.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
Maintain an organized work area.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic mechanical aptitude.
Basic math skills.
Ability to use measuring devices.
Ability to stand for an entire shift.
Ability to multitask effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or jewelry-related role.
Certification or training in equipment operation and maintenance.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with safety protocols in an industrial setting.
Experience with inventory management or accountability systems.
