Description:

  • As an HR Generalist, you will play a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring seamless Human Resources operations under the guidance of HR Leadership.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Business Units in partnership with HR Leadership.  
  • Facilitate the pre-boarding and onboarding process to ensure a personal and positive experience. 
  • Act as a primary contact for HR processes, procedures, and employment laws, adeptly handling employee relations matters. 
  • Investigate complaints brought forward by employees and execute decisions in partnership with the HR Leadership. 
  • Partner with talent management in creating employee development plans and performance management processes. 
  • Facilitate and coordinate organizational movement with support from recruiting team and ensuring HRIS is maintained. 
  • Partner with talent management to ensure compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, performance management and other HR related activities. 
  • Conduct regular research through surveys, interviews, and focus groups to recommend positive enhancements to the employee experience on topics such as policies, processes, and culture.  
  • Assists with leave of absence and immigration processes, acting as a liaison between Counsel, employees, and management. 
  • Own and maintain general HR presentations (new hire orientation, management orientations, ad hoc). 
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices and regulatory changes in human resources, talent management, and employment law. 
  • Assist with execution of employee events. 


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field. 
  • 5 years of experience in general HR functions. 
  • Thorough understanding of employment-related laws and regulations. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. 
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn HRIS, ATS, and LMS systems. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and conflict resolution skills. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. 


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of Immigration Experience.
  • Talent Management Experience.
