The goal of the Final Inspector is to perform a final quality inspection on the product, prior to it being placed into inventory or moved to another cell, to ensure that the product meets the quality requirements of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Counts, inspects, records batches, identifies, routes product for t-up and records quality defects to operations
Identifies and distinguishes quality defects by type and severity
Records product for rework and recast on appropriate boards and charts
Removes substandard product from production and resubmits it in to the cell for t-up or recast
