Responsibilities:

• Run and bend emt, pull wire and connect from power supply to machines.
• Ability to read and follow electrical schematics.
• Test electrical characteristics such as voltage, resistance using voltmeters and ohmmeters.
• May construct electrical control panels using hand tools, rulers and power drills.
• Performs equipment operation and surveillance tasks and diagnoses electrical failures on electrical equipment, lighting, switches, transformers, motor starters and controls both mechanical, proximity switches, limit switches and other electrical distribution systems components.
• Responds, troubleshoots and completes service work orders by repairing, rebuilding, maintaining, servicing and operating electrical distribution systems and ventilation.

• This job operates in an environment where the employee may be exposed to wet or humid conditions, working around moving mechanical parts.
