The purpose of the Commercial Operations Associate position is to serve as a versatile liaison between the Reimbursement, Customer Service, and Commercial Operations departments, optimizing workflow efficiency and supporting organizational productivity.
This role will focus on our customer and sales agent onboarding, facilitating a seamless integration into the CRM system while helping to maintain data integrity.
Additionally, the Commercial Operations Associate will assist the Reimbursement Team as needed by monitoring prior authorizations, creating benefit verification cases, and managing incoming communications, alleviating caseload burdens and ensuring timely resolution.
By effectively bridging the gap between reimbursement, customer service, and commercial operations, this position will play a pivotal role in enhancing overall departmental performance and achieving corporate objectives.
Essential Functions of the Areas of Responsibility:
Perform the following in accordance with AATB, FDA, and Tides Medical stated policies and procedures while upholding Tides Medical’s mission and corporate values.
Monitor and manage incoming faxes and emails
Input new Customer Accounts and Sales Agents in the CRM system
Generate, send, and upload customer and sales agent agreements into the CRM
Assist in benefit verification case creation
Assist in checking the status of prior authorizations and pre-determinations
Help ensure data integrity in the CRM, including account names, addresses, account teams, and parent/child relationships
Match patients to customer invoices to enable accurate reporting and analytics
Interact with sales agents to verify account information submitted into CRM
Create and monitor pricebooks, ensuring customer accounts have the correct price

Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
At least 2 years of experience in sales or sales operations
