• CGI is seeking a Business Analyst to help us convert legacy application functionality into a more current technology environment.
• This system will be developed using the most advanced technologies and will be cloud-based using highly automated DevSecOps.

• This role can be performed from Bloomfield or Hartford, CT, Raleigh or Cary, NC, Austin or Rollingwood, TX, or Lafayette, LA offices.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Identify and understand customer expectations, study existing business processes, program, and legacy system
• Communicate key insights and findings to the product team by translating and simplifying the requirements.
• Ability to create customize reporting and mapping.
• Help design documents and maintain system processes
• Prioritize initiatives based on the business needs and requirements
• Perform user acceptance testing
• Understand Business/Operational and IT Systems Analysis & Integration
• Perform a functional analysis of existing systems/applications and document findings
• Interact with both Business Partners and/or end-users as well as programmers, IT staff
• Balance attention to detail while keeping the big picture in mind

Qualifications:

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 5 years of related experience working as a Business analyst / Functional analyst or a similar role.
• Strong in SQL skills, Snowflake/AWS.
• Proven experience in creating customize reporting and mapping.
• Experience in data analysis and data visualization to draw business-relevant conclusions.
• Expertise in planning and conducting facilitative sessions for requirements gathering.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team.
• Experience with creating a detailed report and giving presentations.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Claim or medical economics.
• IIBA certification is preferred.

Nice to have:

• Prior Healthcare Industry experience
• Good hands-on experience in using SAS, SQL

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
