  • This role can be performed from Bloomfield or Hartford, CT, Raleigh or Cary, NC, Austin or Rollingwood, TX, Chattanooga, TN or Lafayette, LA offices.


Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • AWS Python Engineer will be responsible for the development and production support of applications using Agile methodologies and Cloud platforms.
  • Work in an onshore-offshore model, with 5-7 onshore/offshore developers.
  • Follow Agile and engineering best practices and take pride in it.
  • Agile Ceremonies – Participate and Contribute.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Minimum at least 7+ years of relevant experience in working:
  • Full Stack Engineering - Designing, developing, deploying, testing and prod support.
  • Demonstrated experience in Python, AWS, PL/SQL.
  • Good experience delivering APIs, RESTful, Microservices.
  • Hands on experience with AWS services such as Glue, EMR, Lambda, Step Functions, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, SNS, SQS, S3, VPC, EC2.
  • Database Experience with Oracle/SQL.
  • Experience with CICD tools such as: GIT, Jenkins, SonarQube, Veracode/Checkmarx.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.


Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Java frameworks like Spring, spring boot, Hibernate, Maven.
