Position Description:

• It’s an exciting time to join the Atlas development team in the Federal Solutions Group!
• The Atlas team is split between Fairfax, Lebanon, Lafayette, and positions with infrequent or no travel depending on the position.
• No security clearance is required.
• We are seeking an experienced Lead Automation Tester to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for software applications.
• Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing test results, and maintaining test scripts.
• Requires strong knowledge of automation testing frameworks, tools, and scripting languages.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Define and execute the automation strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Build and lead a high-performing automation team.
• Mentor and develop team members in automation best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities.
• Design, develop, and implement automation frameworks and solutions.
• Analyze automation results and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with automation trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automation testing.
• Proven experience leading automation teams on projects
• Proficiency in automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
• Strong scripting skills (Java, Python, JavaScript).
• Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Preferred:

• Certification in automation testing (e.g., ISTQB).
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks and API testing.
• Knowledge of performance testing.
