The position of Assemble Milling Operator is responsible for operating a mill machine using computer programs to process various products on the production floor, as well as collaborating with the Metal Mold Engineering department to maintain equipment operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate Mill machine using computer programs
Communicate any issues to the Metal Mold Engineering department
Ensure general safety and machine shop equipment practices
Inspect finished parts, analyze quality, and process issues
Calculate and adjust speeds & feeds on equipment such as lathe, mill, and pantograph
Update work records using a computer or tablet
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Basic proficiency with shop precision measuring instruments
Communication & Team Skills
Understanding of basic mathematics
Basic Computer Skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to stand for 4 to 6 hours
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in machining or related field
Prior experience in machine operation
Advanced proficiency in using shop precision measuring instruments
