  • The role of a CAM OPS Wax Tech is to efficiently produce & manicure wax patterns of the highest quality possible to be used for the lost wax casting process.
  • To accomplish this, you will be using a variety of handheld tools, some which are similar to dental ones.
  • You will create the wax pattern by using a wax machine and rubber molds.
  • Then, you will inspect the quality of the wax injection and use the handheld tools to remove blemishes and correct flaws.
  • This also includes but not limited to, 3d printed resins and waxes.

 Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • The ability to satisfactorily adhere to company attendance policies.
  • Inspect and manicure resin/wax prints to ensure highest quality part for the casting process.
  • Clean and spray each resin piece.
  • Accurately process resin pieces with paper work to correct expeditor window.
  • Cut structures from resins when needed.
  • Move all cam IDs in cam tracker to cast.
  • Help with the HTM molding process.
  • Size in wax when needed.
  • Mold cutting
  • Advanced sprue placement
  • Heat grouping jobs for casting 
  • Accurate processing of fill lines for specific order requirements for count, size, & color while maintaining 80% efficiency
  • Inspect & manicure injected patterns to ensure the highest quality part for the casting process
  • Inspect parts for quality issues or imperfections
  • Perform manual paper processing operations necessary to fulfill daily work operations
  • Use a series of rubber molds to produce duplicate wax patterns of a specific series number using a wax injecting machine
  • Required to complete computer-based training periodically
  • Required to check your Stuller corporate email account to attain and communicate important company information
  • Must be able to use a tablet to update jobs
