  • Supervises data operations for clinical operations staff, collaborating with executive leadership and clinical management to develop an overall data operations strategy to streamline clinical operations for the organization
  • Serves as data management leader for clinical operations
  • Assumes ownership of clinical operations data analytics department, producing key deliverables within the identified scope of the position, creating standard operating procedures, increasing overall quality of the department and coordinates clinical management staff with executive leadership
  • Coordinates cross functional teams to assure timely completion of tasks to meet established deadlines
  • Responsible for analyzing healthcare data within the clinical space of our organization to identify opportunities for program success, operational intervention, while recognizing areas in which to reduce expense and cost while driving operational success for clinical management and staff
  • Serves as key access point for executive leadership and facilitates the dissemination of valuable information to clinical management for analysis and the reporting of actionable outcomes back to executive leadership
  • Supervises the production of reports to clinical management that display current areas of needed attention
  • Manages the execution of creative data analytic approaches leading to successful outcomes by reviewing data design and analysis; approving metrics to be analyzed, defining, calculating and validating results needed for clinical success, while providing technical support and guidance to clinical management
  • Manage other responsibilities and projects as assigned


Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, engineering, business or related field
  • Ability to lead technical and clinical team members
  • Extensive query language experience with common statistical software packages (e.g., SAS, SQL, etc.) with demonstrated ability to develop, test and execute complex analytic processes

  • Ability to facilitate positive and open relations with clinical staff and executive leadership
  • Knowledge working with medical data
  • Experience working with large data sets
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written in order to interact knowledgeably with and impact both internal and external parties
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to convey highly technical information understandably to a wide variety of audiences
  • Superior project management ability and drive-for-results mentality with a growth mindset

  • This position will require the employee to handle Protected Health Information (PHI) for duties related to document and report preparation.
  • Policies and procedures will be strictly adhered to make sure PHI is protected as required by the HIPAA Privacy Rule.
