  • Able to troubleshoot any and all machine tool issues and provide cost effective solutions.
  • Proficient in all areas of advanced machine tool design and machining applications.
  • Able to interpret any piece and draft and or sketch the part at hand from all 3-D view points.
  • Able to identify, design and execute any and all project concepts from paper to completion.
  • Able to fully manage projects within budget and provide on time completion.
  • Possesses a solid understanding and working knowledge of AutoCAD, MasterCAM and Esprit software’s.
  • Able to project the productivity and life expectancy of a die.
  • Able to teach, technically train and mentor all other tool and die personnel as needed.
  • Able to help identify and make recommendations regarding new machine tool technologies.
  • Possesses the ability to positively lead others by setting a good professional example
  • Able to follow as well as offer good concise verbal instructions


Qualifications:

  • Good communication and Team Skills.
  • Proficient in all aspects of form grinding.
  • Proficient in the understand and use of sine plates.
  • Formal T&D Apprenticeship and a minimum of 10 years of on the job experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
