Collect drawings, photos, and technical information to comprehensively organize and write technical material using advanced knowledge of the entire MS Office Suite.
Collaborate with all functional engineering groups to develop a thorough understanding of our products, capabilities, and processes.
Lead in the development and revision control of manuals, procedures, deliverables, reports, and other technical documentation.
Support Program Managers and Integrated Product Teams in the development of deliverables documentation.
Review current program management documents, procedures, publications, manuals, and technical data to recommend document revisions, changes in approach, scope, formatting, test, methods of production, and distribution of materials.
Track and facilitate document revisions based on configuration changes, customer feedback, etc.
Development of technical presentations and graphics.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience in technical writing including developing communications deliverables such as web application/engineering documentation, operational procedures, and plans.
Demonstrated ability to plan, develop, organize, write, and edit operational procedures and manuals using fluid technical writing and editing skills.
Ability to maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation and manage updates and revisions to technical literature.
Ability to analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content and able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants must be a U.S. Person as per 22 CFR 120.15 in order to satisfy export compliance requirements.

Media editing Software Experience.
Experience using and navigating DoD Publications.
Experience using CAD programs and interpreting production drawings, electrical schematics, and system diagrams.
Experience in the development of written bids and proposals.
Strong technical background in electrical or software systems.
