  • Collect drawings, photos, and technical information to comprehensively organize and write technical material using advanced knowledge of the entire MS Office Suite.
  • Collaborate with all functional engineering groups to develop a thorough understanding of our products, capabilities, and processes.
  • Lead in the development and revision control of manuals, procedures, deliverables, reports, and other technical documentation.
  • Support Program Managers and Integrated Product Teams in the development of deliverables documentation.
  • Review current program management documents, procedures, publications, manuals, and technical data to recommend document revisions, changes in approach, scope, formatting, test, methods of production, and distribution of materials.
  • Track and facilitate document revisions based on configuration changes, customer feedback, etc.
  • Development of technical presentations and graphics.


  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in technical writing including developing communications deliverables such as web application/engineering documentation, operational procedures, and plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, develop, organize, write, and edit operational procedures and manuals using fluid technical writing and editing skills.
  • Ability to maintain a comprehensive library of technical terminology and documentation and manage updates and revisions to technical literature.
  • Ability to analyze documents to maintain continuity of style of content and able to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
  • This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Applicants must be a U.S. Person as per 22 CFR 120.15 in order to satisfy export compliance requirements.
  • A strong technical aptitude.
  • Ability to coordinate with team members to collect technical data and organize it into an appropriate written format.
  • Excellent listener with exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • High level of autonomy to meet deadlines and program goals
  • Availability to travel up to 5% of the time.
  • Experience creating PDFs or other smart form applications.
  • Experience using MS SharePoint and Nintex Workflows.
  • Media editing Software Experience.
  • Experience using and navigating DoD Publications.
  • Experience using CAD programs and interpreting production drawings, electrical schematics, and system diagrams.
  • Experience in the development of written bids and proposals.
  • Strong technical background in electrical or software systems.
