Technical Support Associates are the clandestine operators keeping Waitr’s devices, software, and people fully operational.
They are responsible for ensuring that our Waitr employees are integrated into our operations efficiently and effectively.
They are focused on keeping our Waitr employees well-informed and operating smoothly: they are mentors, advisors, and administrators that keep our employees on track.
Our TSA’s are dedicated to keeping our restaurant partners and Waitr employees working at high efficiency.
As a Waitr TSA, you will build and maintain lasting relationships with our greatest asset, Waitr’s employees.
Being a Waitr TSA requires attention to detail, exceptional communication skills, and a sense of humor.
We are looking for reliable, motivated people with problem solving and interpersonal skills who can work varied hours.
Essential Functions
Track company assets such as computers, iPads, phones through Meraki SM.
Supports and tracks hardware and software within the company.
Tier 2 support for Engineering; bug triage, documenting and reporting.
Technical Support for corporate employees. Tracking, resolving, and closeIT help desk tickets.
Provides direct support for city teams in relation to Restaurant tech and equipment issues.
Manage and support in official Waitr communication channels.
Assist different Waitr departments to ensure best practices are being followed.
Perform software investigations and testing.
Qualifications:
Requirements
Internal knowledge of Waitr and/or Bite Squad proprietary software.
Two-year Associate/Technical Degree in Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent.
One to three years of related tech support, IT helpdesk and /or IT Professional experience. Equivalent military technical training is considered.
Basic programming & development skills are a plus.
Cisco Meraki System Manager, Apple iOS, Apple OSX, Slack, related Apple, Excel, Google Suite, Meraki certificates are a plus.
Work Environment
Waitr IT is open from 7 or 8am - 9pm CST, seven days a week.
This position works various shifts and days during the week to cover the IT schedule.
This is a work from home position that needs an environment where complete focus can be achieved when on the clock.
