  • The Talent Acquisition Specialist is an integral role supporting the recruiting function and contributing to the overall success of the team by providing a high level of internal and external service, administrative support, and project coordination throughout the recruiting process.
  • The TA specialist will be responsible for the pre-employment, post-offer, new hire and onboarding process tasks. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:  

  • Deliver a seamless and positive recruiting and onboarding experience for all candidates, internal and external 
  • Manage job postings on college and recruiting career websites  
  • Participate in recruiting events and campus career fairs 
  • Coordinate with external hiring agencies for contingent staffing 
  • Lead the onboarding experience and assist management with onboarding new associates to the organization 
  • Communicate and coordinate first day plans with new hires 
  • Compile and update associate records 
  • Scan and file associate records 
  • Prepare requested reports and documents 
  • Maintain accurate open and closed requisitions for accurate reporting 
  • Provide administrative support to the Recruiting team 



  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally 
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and plan work activities to use time efficiently 
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with integrity and maintain associate and company privacy 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
  • Excellent organizational skills and a drive for continuous improvement personally and professionally


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred or equivalent work experience 
  • Expertise with MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook 
  • Experience with UKG Ready or other ATS a plus 
  • General knowledge of various employment laws and practices  
  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills as well as the ability to engage and influence hiring managers and other business partners at all levels
