Participate in technical planning & requirements gathering phases including Design, code, test, troubleshoot, and document engineering software applications.
Ensuring that technical software development process is followed on the project, familiar with industry best practices for software development.
Develop applications in a variety of languages
Demonstrate the ability to adapt and work with team members of various experience level.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS
Can write advanced SQL statements to interact with a database
Experience in profiling source and raw data
Can define transformation logic of data from business requirements
Experience working in Windows and Linux development environments
Experience in Bash, Batch, Python, and/or PowerShell a plus
Previous project experience in existing ETL tools such as SSIS, ODI, talend, Pentaho, Datastage, Informatica, etc.
Be able to read, analyze and digest what a business wants to accomplish with its data and design the best possible process around those goals
Strong analytical skills demonstrated by the ability to receive and analyze requirements and propose a suitable solution that adheres to the client's methodolgy
Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, writing, analytical, problem solving, and information gathering skills along with troubleshooting abilities.
