As a Returns Mail & Credit Processor your Primary job is to prepare packages for credit processors as well as verify packages that require special attention.
You will receive and enter all incoming mail into our tracking system & are responsible for Processing of returned merchandise for credit or refund and contacting customers on issues with their return.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Enter incoming mail
Back up company runner in delivering in house mail
Scan bar code on filler label that is applied to customer product
Sort product lines into bins
Confirm and Pack customer orders
Maintain required accuracy
Order catalogs and other departmental supplies
Pick up merchandise at the front desk that was returned by local customers or associates.
Prepare packages for credit processors
Sort, scan, and open returned merchandise from shipping dept.
Verify packages that require special attention or forwarded to other departments
Communicate with customers regarding returned items.
Identify and process specific department errors.
Process customer returns for credit, refund, repair or exchange.
High school diploma or equivalent
Able to stand for 4 to 6 hours
Able to read and has basic math skills
Work at a fast pace
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Excellent written, listening, and verbal communication skills in English.
Exceptional decision making skills.
Ability to communicate effectively utilizing telephone, email, or one on one conversation.
Must be able to maintain composure and handle high stress situations.
