Description

  • The role of the Automation Process Engineer is to perform Research, Development, and Implementation in order to locate possible solutions for multi-disciplined projects.
  • Performing Intermediate level PLC, Robotics, Automation and system Integration.
  • Performing mechanical design, fabrication, assembly, and troubleshooting of complex machinery. 


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:  

  • Self-lead Coordination of medium level projects and tasks 
  • Design & fabricate custom automated devices for existing equipment to meet company's needs. This can be via internally resourced and/or externally resourced through this positions facilitation 
  • Design, program and integrate automated solutions 
  • Research, Develop, Implement: 
  • Machine vision programs and strategies 
  • PLC and control systems  
  • PLC programming and interface to networks  
  • Create, test and debug industrial control software  
  • Develops interfaces to allow easy communication. / IIOT Industry 4 
  • Vendor vetting  
  • Develop detailed specifications for purchased equipment and services  
  • Fabricate mechanical equipment  
  • Perform research on internet for equipment  
  • Provide proper documentation, operating instructions & safety manuals for all custom fabricated equipment  


Qualifications:

Qualifications: 

  • Robotics, PLC,IOT, and System Process Integration 
  • Skills in the design & installation of electronic control systems for automation equipment are needed 
  • Basic physics and mathematics is considered necessary to complete daily tasks 
  • Intermediate CAD drawing skills. 
  • Experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, and other popular PLC programming and interfaces 
  • Degree in field of Industrial Automation Engineering 
  • Robotics Controls Engineering 
  • Automation/Electrical Engineer 
  • Logistics automation experience is a plus
