Quality Management Product & Process Development Specialist will collaborate with the Product Design and Development, Model, CAM, and Manufacturing teams to advise and make recommendations related to product introduction and improvement.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The Process and Product Development Specialist - Technical is responsible for attending regular meetings and providing insight related to products in planning stages, utilizing knowledge of manufacturing and CAM processes.
This position coordinates manufacturing and use testing of products as needed to provide useful insight to Product Design and Development Teams.
Manages projects and timelines to ensure accurate delivery of results, utilizing internal resources and collaborating with QM, TM, CAM, and other teams.
Collaborates with Process Specialists - Technical to review vendor products being added to the Stuller product selection, checking cost cards for accuracy and making recommendations for durability and manufacturability, as appropriate.
Responsible for approval of products as representative of Quality Management department and Stuller.
Collaborates with Project Manager to assign testing responsibilities
Advise and train appropriate staff and management on technical processes and project status.
Responsible for designing and implementing production procedures to optimize new and existing jewelry manufacturing processes
Responsible for the success of the project as defined by the ROI
Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
Prepares and presents reports for management, peers and other teams, regarding status of projects
Lead problem solving teams using established tools and methodologies
Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, monitors and summarizes progress of project
Has the authority to implement the changes they identify in their efforts, crossing departmental lines as appropriate

Skills:
Understanding of Oracle WIP systems
Strong knowledge of the practical application of Lean Systems and Tools
Experience:
5 - 8 years of experience in Jewelery Manufacturing or related field with strong expertise in at least 50% of the technical skills listed in section below
Perform detailed ROI analysis on proposed projects
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel

Understanding and demonstrated ability in laser welding assembly and repair
