Quality Assurance Analyst (Microsoft D365)


  • Participate in discovery meetings with the client to understand current business processes that need to be incorporated into ERP solutions
  • Responsible for creating test cases necessary for completing testing objectives
  • Provide estimates for the effort needed to meet the testing objectives
  • Creating test plans and manage the effort
  • Provide guidance from overall test strategy
  • Review user stories, functional requirements and design for D365 F&O modules
  • Perform fit gap analysis for current business processes, configuration and set up for D365 F&O modules
  • Participate in discussions and reading Design Documents to understand current and future process
  • Perform and test the Data migration and data mapping activities
  • Prepare comprehensive test plans and evaluate test results for the D365 F&O
  • Perform and test the Data migration and data mapping activities
  • UAT testing for the Dynamics 365 implementations
  • Testing the supply chain modules including Inventory management
  • Identify line items for test automation to best leverage available time and provide best test coverage
  • Identify risks/ issues during test execution and provide possible mitigation options to customer
  • Provide QA metrics and create comprehensive status reports for the client to provide overall QA test summary


  • 5+ years testing experience with MS D365 F&O using DevOps
  • Must have experience creating test plans and test cases in Azure DevOps
  • Ability to write and execute test cases based on FDDs and user stories
  • Must have hands on test experience in Manual, functional, integration, Performance and regression testing
  • Good problem-solving skills to determine the root cause of bugs where applicable
  • Quality Assurance and Agile certifications are highly desirable
  • Understanding of technical integrations between systems
  • Experience with Supply Chain Management/Trade & Logistics is highly desirable
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills
