Job Description

  • The SchoolMint professional services team is searching for a Professional Services Specialist to join its team.  
  • The SchoolMint professional services team implements the SchoolMint products as part of our mission to help schools attract, enroll and retain students.
  • The Professional Services Specialist will be responsible for ensuring schools are equipped to leverage our robust feature sets and are finding value with our products.
  • This role manages the training and consulting of the SchoolMint products for new and existing customers.
  • This role will be the first to join our new Professional Services team and will assist with revising and improving our training and consulting services.
  • This position will work closely with the Onboarding and Customer Success teams to ensure schools have a happy and successful experience with SchoolMint.

What You’ll Do:

  • Facilitate virtual and in-person training sessions for key users of SchoolMint products.
  • Plan and lead webinars and other “1:Many” training opportunities across clients. 
  • Communicate with client stakeholders to arrange training logistics and ensure a smooth participant experience. 
  • Work with client stakeholders to tailor training resources to meet the clients’ needs. 
  • Assist with configuration of the SchoolMint product training instances to make adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Product Learning team to develop and improve training resources.
  • Collaborate with Onboarding and Customer Success team members to keep them informed of service progress or offer guidance on possible service needs.
  • Contribute to team initiatives, including the creation of knowledge, processes, and tools to improve the efficiency and productivity of SchoolMint Professional Services.
  • 10- 30% Travel during peaks in the summer and early fall


About You:

  • BA or BS degree or higher
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in project management, account management, or customer success role at a technology company
  • Experience with set-up, configuration, or administration of a SAAS software product
  • Strong communication, demo/training, and presentation skills with the ability to engage and inspire others
  • Ability to simplify complex tasks and topics for others 
  • Strong empathy for customers
  • Self-driven, collaborative, and detail-oriented
  • Experience as a user or administrator of SchoolMint, or similar, products. (Plus)
  • Experience with set-up, configuration, or administration of a SAAS software product (Plus)
