  • Produce, document, and communicate effective UX designs for multiple interfaces - via mockups, high-fidelity wireframes, component specs, redlines, templates and prototypes
  • Definition and deployment of UI styles and patterns via a componentized style guide, specifications and optimized assets
  • Leads the collaboration with business customers in discussions relative to current user experience projects and the future direction of design and user experience
  • Facilitates design reviews with the business community to refine and validate designs
  • Demonstrates a solid understanding of Agile UX methodologies
  • Leads research and evaluation of emerging design, technology, industry, and market trends
  • Ensures overall quality of solutions throughout the design process
  • Represents as a strong and passionate voice for the work as we share and present to cross-functional teams and executive leadership
  • Works closely with the technical delivery managers, business analysts, solution architects, and development leads for overall coordination of key design deliverables and to ensure accurate understanding of UI requirements
  • Coordinates and performs design research, including usability tests, benchmarking tests, end-user reviews, for modified and new user interfaces


Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-7 years experience as a Product Designer, with at least 2 years of that experience in large scale system implementation efforts following a standard software development lifecycle approach (scrum desired)
  • Strong design skills: must be current on latest trends, color styles, & typography, with strong compositional skills; quick service retail experience a plus
  • Able to integrate UX into Agile development practices to release working software in sprints
  • Participate a design process that involves experimentation, productionalization, analysis and revision
  • Strong oral and written communications skills; strong facilitation skills
  • Excellent organization and management skills
  • Has foundational experience playing a contributing role in full cycle software delivery
  • Candidate must be thorough and detail-oriented
  • Must have the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision

 

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Prior experience in application development
  • Understands the capabilities of key technologies used in software development (HTML5, Java, .NET, SQL Server)

 

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong Interaction Design skills: wireframing, prototyping; HTML5 and CSS3 a plus
  • Experience with Android/Material Design principles: GUI design & usability a plus
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in a fast-paced rapidly changing environment
  • Understands, can participate in and lead solutions design
  • Able to work on multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
