Description

  • The Pricing Analyst will help determine competitive pricing strategies to gain market share and achieve revenue goals.
  • They analyze data from multiple sources, develop complex pricing models, and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve desired results.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing competitor pricing and market trends to increase market share and profitability.
  • Utilize data analysis techniques to discover and recommend actionable insights that align with organizational strategic priorities and goals.
  • Perform data mining and interact with leaders to assist in solving business questions in the respective areas.
  • Developing dynamic pricing tools to effectively respond to changing market needs/trends and the potential impact of pricing strategies on profitability.
  • Compare sales trends to previous periods and determine the cause for decrease or increase
  • Collaborating with sales and merchandising teams on developing and implementing competitive pricing strategies.
  • Analyze and test new modifiers, formulas, etc. to ensure integrity and accuracy of pricing formulas
  • Participate in system implementation projects (requirements documentation, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution)
  • Collaborate with different areas of the business to identify and understand business needs and solutions for assigned projects.
  • Identify, understand, interpret, and document the business requirements and process flows for assigned projects.

  • Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to quickly grasp new concepts and use a facilitative style to gather information for decision making.
  • Keen ability to think independently and take initiative (within their authority) to drive results
  • Ability to work with multiple disciplines, leaders and organizations to accomplish goals and objectives
  • Demonstrate a high level of technical skills using Excel, SQL, Microstrategy, and other analytic tools to import, export, and manipulate data for analytic and reporting purposes. 
  • Excellent written and oral communications
