Your future duties and responsibilities:

• The project involves providing ongoing application development and maintenance for a large application supported by a managed services program for a large financial institution.
• Be a part of a project team that supports releases for a software application.
• Ensure defined development standards and procedures are followed and requirements and designs are documented.
• Satisfy requirements, meet agreed to completion date(s), and perform unit and integration tests for products developed.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• 3-5 years of PL/SQL specific development experience
• Understanding of data modeling concepts, database design, and data quality, including familiarity with databases (such as Oracle).
• Develop, maintain and modify system code and scripts.
• Develop /Update Unix shell scripts
• Perform Maintenance and Support Activities for application
• Develop and maintain Autosys scripts
• Designing processes that can extract/receive data from various heterogeneous source systems
• Perform data cleansing and transforming the data according to business rules
• Developing reusable frameworks for data extraction, loading and cleansing
• Building capabilities to exchange the data with external partners in various formats (XML, CSV, Flat File, ..)
• CICD and Version Control Experience with Jenkins and GIT
• Basic Java development skills
• Basic Python development skills
• Database Concepts (SQL, Joins, Normalization)
• Databases - Oracle
• Database performance & Tuning/ query optimization
• SQL (complex queries, store procedures, partitions, PL/SQL, cursors)
• Data quality enforcement/ practices/ concepts

Desired Skillset

• Prior experience with Agile Methodology and Dev Ops
• JIRA (or other similar)
• Confluence (or other similar)
• Data Modeling practices/ concepts

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Years of Experience including 3-5 years as a PL/SQL developer
