  • Builds successful stakeholder relationships with other IT and business leaders by developing a clear understanding of business needs, acting as a trusted advisor, and ensuring cost-effective delivery of network/telco services to meet those needs;
  • Creates and aligns the network value map by linking targeted business outcomes with the future-state business capabilities required to achieve them;
  • Defines, develops and manages a comprehensive and integrated network/telco landscape, based on best-practice processes, disciplines and related toolsets;
  • Operates a formal governance mechanism to establish and monitor effective controls for the processes and functions performed by network/telco teams. Supports periodic reviews by internal audit, compliance teams and other risk-related functions as required;
  • Leverages influencing and negotiation skills across IT and the enterprise to enable cost-effective and innovative shared solutions in the achievement of business goals;
  • Provides direction on what emerging technologies should be incorporated into network/telco products and services to successfully deliver overall IT strategy;
  • Provides strategic direction and oversight for the full life cycle of design, development, operation and support of network/telco systems;
  • Develops and controls the annual network budget to ensure that it's consistent with the overall strategic objectives of IT and the enterprise and is within plan.
  • Vendor Management
  • Directs the development of networking/telco sourcing strategy and provides executive oversight for strategic vendor and partner relationship management;
  • Manages ongoing vendor relationships and ensures timely and cost-effective delivery of services and products.
  • Policies and Procedures
  • Develops, implements and oversees maintenance of networking/telecom policies and procedures of enterprise technology standards, governance processes and performance metrics;
  • Collaborates with the Information Security to ensure network embraces and applies security strategy. Oversees audits; monitors and responds to report findings to ensure SOX 404 compliance.
  • Supervision
  • Develop and execute workforce plans that ensure network/telco can supply skilled resources to meet current and future demand;
  • Develops leaders within the network/telco and telecommunication organization and ensures knowledge is shared across the team to facilitate support capabilities.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology; MBA or Master’s in IT related field preferred;

  • 10-15 years in a lead network and telecommunication leadership role;Proven track record in delivery of home healthcare / hospice solutions for Tier 1 Organization

  • Leadership, ability to work with customers and present and gain acceptance with proposed technical solution
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Ability to work in a team environment and handle pressure situations
  • Ability to organise and lead Workshop & requirements facilitation sessions

  • Administration and operation of Network Engineering and Voice/Video/Data Infrastructure programs such as: wide area voice communication system engineering (VOIP), IP data network communications system engineering, procurement and continued maintenance.
  • Network communications systems include: IT infrastructure such as the fibre optics, voice communication systems, IP data network communications systems, network monitoring and management.
  • Experience with managing GSM/LTE based Tablets / IOT devices
  • Experience with remote computing and collaboration technologies VPN / WebEx / Zoom /TEAMS
  • Experience managing F-5, Riverbed and Citrix Netscalar, Cisco ASR/ASA/Necxus/Miraki devices
  • Experience with deploying and managing cloud based solutions
  • Preferred Skils:
    • HCHB (HomeCare Homebase) knowledge in particular experience in PointCare - SLA Management and Customer Event notification) & SSO
    • Design & Implementation experience of LAN / Wireless (LTE) / WA
    • Experience in any of the following vendor packages / Solutions would be advantageous: ServiceNow, HPSM, SolarWinds
