What this job is all about:
The Inventory Analyst is responsible for improving inventory accuracy, overseeing quarterly physical inventories, implementing systems to optimize inventory, and implementing lot and location control processes for warehouses on Avery Island.
In this job, you’ll do things like:
- Develop and improve Inventory Management systems that are sustainable and scalable as the company continues to expand and grow.
- Provide oversight and training on all inventory transactions for Avery Island warehouses.
- Oversee daily cycle counting; oversees and coordinates quarterly physical inventories.
- Determine root cause of errors in inventory reconciliations and provide management with recommendations for solutions.
- Audit inventory movements between internal warehouses and assist with inventory reconciliation at external warehouses.
- Lead the implementation of Lot and Location Control and develop and maintain the integrity of bin location and lot control adherence.

Qualifications:
Must-haves to apply for this job:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with root cause analysis and ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, etc.
- 5+ years’ experience in Warehousing and Inventory Management
What will give you an edge:
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma
- Experience in Supply Chain Planning, Data Analysis, or Cost Accounting
- 10+ years’ experience in Warehousing and Inventory Management
