  • Design, coordinate, and produce a range of marketing materials including but not limited to logos, flyers, posters, direct-mail, and signage, for multiple departments and campuses
  • Serve as lead creative designer for design projects, campaigns, and events.
  • Interface with multiple clients to interpret and present marketing and creative concepts, artwork, signage, and collateral materials to support a campaign or event
  • Manage projects using a project management system
  • Have an expert command of social media and multimedia campaigns
  • Expertly prepare electronic files for output to printers, making sure files are compatible with vendors
  • Build library of still image and videos.
  • Provide outstanding service to students and other internal and external customers.
  • Develop marketing and recruitment materials, including publications, posters, and direct mail pieces.
  • Provide creative design across multiple media, including print and electronic.
  • Communicate visual concepts and design rationale and promote visual design which results in a positive user experience for prospective and current students.
  • Ensure that all communications adhere to the College’s branding and institutional identity guidelines.
  • Use multiple tools and methods to create options for client selection, including color, type, illustration, photography, animation, and various print and layout techniques.
  • Illustrate concepts by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
  • Expertly prepare electronic files for use by outsourced vendors, which are compatible with established requirements.
  • Coordinate the printing production process to ensure quality and reproduction specifications, inspecting proofs for accuracy, and coordinating delivery to meet deadlines.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of a library of still images, graphics, and videos for use in promotional materials.
  • Manipulate and optimize images and graphics.
  • Work within a team on special and ongoing projects.
  • Have ability and endurance necessary to work the hours needed to complete the job.
  • Attend at all mandatory meetings.
  • Predictable and Reliable Attendance is required in order to provide consistency and continuity of educational services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

Required Education: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree


Required Experience: 

  • Five (5) years’ experience in graphic design, web design, or communications; expert ability
  • with creative tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.
  • Effective written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks and high volume of work on deadline;
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to edit and proofread;
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.


Preferred Experience: 

  • Proven experience developing creative campaigns/projects in higher education setting.
  • Experience with video graphics helpful, but not required.


  • Passing pre-employment criminal background screen is required as a condition of employment.
