Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support budget and forecasting efforts through historical data compilation
  • Support budget variance analysis (BvA) reporting, investigating material discrepancies
  • Establish, identify, and monitor key financial operating metrics, business risks and opportunities to drive the business to greater efficiency and effectiveness
  • Coordinate with VieMed’s data analytics department to drive the use of business intelligence tools for greater efficiency.
  • Support accounting with monthly and quarterly close activities
  • Ad hoc financial analyses to support strategic discussions and decisions
  • Assist the M&A team with preparing financial and operational proformas and valuation models for new acquisitions &/or partnerships, including researching and analyzing relevant data from internal and external sources
  • Support M&A team with pre-acquisition financial due diligence and post-acquisition integration efforts, including the development of post-acquisition budgets
  • Perform other responsibilities and projects as assigned



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Three (3) years healthcare experience required
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written in order to interact knowledgeably with and impact both internal and external parties
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to convey highly technical information understandably to a wide variety of audiences
  • Superior project management ability and drive-for-results mentality
  • Must possess the ability to use modern accounting software platforms and databases as well as strong ability to use Microsoft Office applications
  • Demonstrates high standards regarding the quality of thoroughness of business and technical analysis
  • Experience with use of modern business intelligence tools (Microsoft BI, MicroStrategy, Tableau) preferred

  • This position will require the employee to handle Protected Health Information (PHI) for duties related to document and report preparation.
  • Policies and procedures will be strictly adhered to make sure PHI is protected as required by the HIPAA Privacy Rule.
