Execute a business plan that generates a profitable return of gross margin for Stuller and its customers within assigned product segment.
Manage initial aspects of merchandise selection, pricing, profitability, marketing and promotion, packaging, inventory, forecasting and planning
Responsible for the overall sales and profits of designated product lines.
Partner with Sales/CX and Marketing, Procurement, Merchandising, Product Design and Development, Procurement, and Supply Chain.
Recommend approved product marketing programs for assigned product lines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Execute approved Merchandising plan including all phases of initial merchandise selection, pricing, profitability, marketing and promotion, packaging, inventory, forecasting and planning
Create content and presentations for Business Reviews, Board Meetings, Internal and External Customer events
Forecast financials and expenses for the department according to company goals and budget
Execute profitable business plan in alignment with company goals
Monitor purchase data and customer performance, ensuring profitability.
Monitor customer sentiment, engaging with customers as needed.
Meet with existing and potential new vendors to review new product
Monitor domestic and international trade magazines and websites and participate in trade shows, ensuring the flow of new concepts
Monitor the marketplace for competitive product information, especially pricing, recommend and institute changes accordingly
Forecast and monitor sales for the launch of new product, maximizing inventory turn while providing excellent in stock service levels
Execute seasonal brochures, catalogs, and other product campaigns in conjunction with the Marketing team.
Link all marketing campaigns and major product launches on the web in collaboration with E-commerce team.
Partner with Sales on product launches for customer events and trade shows
Qualifications:
Qualifications
GIA GG or equivalent
Jewelry knowledge is required
Minimum 3 years’ experience or equivalent education of colored gemstones
Strong Business Acumen
Experience with Windows, Microsoft Word and Excel
Multi-task oriented and ability to make decisions to achieve results
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Good interpersonal and customer service skills
Intuitive sense for aesthetics, product placement and merchandising
Good organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to make oral and written presentations, ability and confidence to present opinions and thoughts in a clear, unbiased manner
Ability to make decisions to achieve desired results
