As the Director, Enterprise Sales, you’ll lead a team of account executives and new business development representatives, providing guidance on best practices, navigating a competitive market, motivating and fostering cross-functional collaboration.
We’re looking for a leader who enjoys being in the field with their team that is able to identify individual coaching and advancement opportunities with an aptitude for inspiring and setting expectations with the team.
What You’ll Be Doing
Achieve plan and overall sales targets
Ensure clients fully utilize our services and obtain results
Work closely with Account Executives to attain individual targets and provide exec leadership support to close deals, negotiate effectively, and win new business
Effectively drive new bookings, x-sell, bundles and multi-year deals across Enterprise sales team
Drive ongoing team optimization and structural alignment to capitalize on growth opportunities and scale based on market needs
Create and sustain a sales performance culture
Lead team to win through transparent performance measures and reviews, using data-driven analytics, to drive strong sales execution
Provide strong leadership and communication, setting a unified direction for the team and ensure priorities are clear
Proactively collaborate with cross-functional leaders (Marketing, Customer Success, Product, Sales Operations) across the business to ensure the voice of the customer influence our efforts and investments in product, innovation, and proposition development
Establish strong partnerships across matrixed functions to collaborate on solutions which help remove roadblocks/barriers to sales execution
Attract, retain and grow world-class sales talent, understand the current bench-strength of the teams and work in partnership with HR to address any development gaps in a timely manner
Minimum of 3 years sales management experience
Ability to travel 40 - 50%
Measurable sales and leadership experience in organizations that drive growth in revenue, number of customers and the lifetime value of customers
Experience in solution sales of a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform (strong preference for Enterprise level solution experience)
Experience in the education sector highly desirable
Strong execution focus and ability to develop effective prospecting strategies for new clients
Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others to perform and achieve results within a diverse team
