  • The Digital Product Merchandiser performs a variety of e-commerce duties and is responsible for all aspects of support online for product categories; including but not limited to category review support, promotional planning and execution, product content, product management, SKU on-boarding and maintenance, improving site findability (search/browse), analyzing web KPIs / user behavior, and special projects as assigned. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:  

  • Promotional execution, identifying and developing solid product content, optimizing online navigation, and maintaining clean well merchandised product lines. 
  • Improve site findability; through search & browse optimization activities. 
  • Performance based merchandised assortments by category and continually evaluate, analyze, and adjust assortments based on sales trends. 
  • Work with the digital analytics team to analyze promotions and react accordingly. Provide recommendations on future promotions based on past performance and industry insight. 
  • Build strategic and tactical business plans to report on business growth. 
  • Develop an expert understanding of the jewelry trade and be able to anticipate and build business needs to improve the experience on the site. 
  • Maintain knowledge of current systems, applications, and functionality. 
  • Maintain knowledge of competitive landscape and digital innovations. 
  • Review KPI & web behavior metrics to generate data driven insights & actions. 
  • Manage recommendations engine and trade-up strategies. 
  • New item and promo activation and maintenance. 
  • Prepare category analytics and identify opportunities to drive online sales. 
  • Responsible for product content through coordination with vendor and product management team.  
  • Analyze the ecommerce market to develop understanding of market trends and competitors’ strengths, weaknesses, and strategies.  



  • Clear and effective communication skills while working with the merchant team. 
  • Superior problem-solving skills, prioritization, project management, multitasking, focus on detail and comfortable taking ownership of assigned tasks. 
  • Self-starter who develops lasting relationships with key stakeholders, creates partnerships and solves problems to get things done. 
  • Comfortable meeting and communicating with all levels of leadership within the company as well as present within large scale meetings to the leadership team. 



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred. 
  • 3+ years’ experience in merchandising and or e-commerce role. 
  • Jewelry and/or jewelry manufacturing knowledge.
  • Solid understanding of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.  
  • Proficient with search engines/optimization. 
  • Familiarity with recommendations engine. 
  • Some knowledge of CMS and HTML. 
  • Excellent understanding of website usability, and customer experience. 
  • Proficient in digital marketing and e-commerce best practices; ability to work at a strategic and tactical level. 
  • Ability to learn technology and new processes quickly.
