Promotional execution, identifying and developing solid product content, optimizing online navigation, and maintaining clean well merchandised Tools & Supplies categories. 

Improve site findability; through search & browse optimization activities. 

Performance based merchandised assortments by category and continually evaluate, analyze, and adjust assortments based on sales trends. 

Work with the digital analytics team to analyze promotions as they pertain to Tools & Supplies business and react accordingly. Provide recommendations on future promotions based on past performance and industry insight. 

Build strategic and tactical business plans for the Tools & Supplies category to report on business growth. 

Develop expert understanding of the bench jeweler and be able to anticipate and build to their needs and improve their experience on the site. 

Maintain knowledge of current systems, applications, and functionality. 

Maintain knowledge of competitive landscape and digital innovations. 

Review KPI & web behavior metrics to generate data driven insights & actions. 

Manage recommendations engine and trade-up strategies. 

New item and promo activation and maintenance. 

Prepare category analytics and identify opportunities to drive online sales. 

Responsible for product content through coordination with vendor and product management team.  

Analyze the ecommerce market to develop understanding of market trends and competitors’ strengths, weaknesses, and strategies.  

Become an enhanced subject matter expert for the Tools & Supplies category.


Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred. 

3+ years’ experience in merchandising and or e-commerce role. 

Jewelry and/or jewelry manufacturing knowledge.  

Solid understanding of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.  

Proficient with search engines/optimization such as SLI or Lucid works. 

Familiarity with recommendations engine such as Rich Relevance. 

Some knowledge of CMS and HTML. 

Excellent understanding of website usability, and customer experience. 

Proficient in digital marketing and e-commerce best practices; ability to work at a strategic and tactical level. 

Ability to learn technology and new processes quickly.
