The Customer Experience Diamonds and Gemstones Sales Manager is responsible for managing the company's Diamonds and Gemstones Proactive Sales Team.
This vital role executes current processes and strategies to increase sales in our loose stone assortments.
This includes leading the Diamond and Gemstone Sales team while collaborating closely with various departments within the company.
A focus on developing relationships with our existing customers as well as prospecting for new opportunities, the Stuller Diamond and Gemstone Team’s goal is to raise the bar within the industry.
As the leader of the team, the Sales Manager will be responsible for executing strategic business plans to grow and enhance the Customer Experience while creating awareness for our loose stone collections.
The leader will report productivity of the team through data analysis and tracking of individual and team performance.
This position leads by example and is continuously coaching and mentoring.
Essential Job Duties:
Work collaboratively throughout the organization to develop and implement sales strategies and programs.
Hire, train and develop Diamond and Gemstone Specialists Team.
Report on accountability using metrics for service level, technical skills and knowledge within the team.
Communicate and enhance KPI’s and sales goals, aligned with company growth goals; target and penetrate competitive markets.
Team evaluations: participation in coaching, raise review process, termination.
Present and facilitate discussion on selling strategies, products, and programs to internal and external customers.
Team organization and communication; continual growth in sales practices and policies.
Create standards for loose stone customer management and relationship building.
Orchestrate successful sales and promotional campaigns.
Attend customer visits, tradeshows and Stuller sponsored selling events.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including oral presentations.
Ability to manage, train, and motivate teams.
Ability to multi-task and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem solving and negotiation skills.
Customer centric with an ability to quickly recognize and address customer service and experience challenges.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of products, especially Outlook and Excel.

Bachelor of Marketing, Sales, Business Development, or 5-10 years related work experience.
5-7+ years’ Sales and Marketing experience.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a high-volume customer sales and service environment.
GIA GG accreditations preferred but not required, in lieu a commitment to acquiring GIA Diamond and Gemstone accreditations.
5+ years’ experience with selling loose diamonds and gemstones.
Salesforce™ experience preferred or experience with other CRM software system.
