Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Build and deploy CICD pipeline using GitLab/Executor with multiple technologies like AWS, Terraform
• Participate in technical design and choose the right tools such as Python, Java/Groovy, Docker etc.,
• Has a strong sense of ownership and willingness to work with cross functional team
• Has a strong technical understanding of applications and DevOps tools and can provide guidance to the DevOps team in this matter.
• Implement standards, processes, and controls for release and deployment activities in DevOps space

Qualifications:

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• At least 4 years of experience in DevOps Engineering and CICD Pipeline Automations
• At least 3 years of hand-on experience writing CICD pipeline jobs and templates (Gitlab)
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• At least 2 years of hands on experience in AWS
• At least 2 year of experience in cloud migrations
• Experience leading and mentoring teams
• At least 3 years of hands on experience in scripting or programming languages like bash, shell, Python, Groovy etc
• Experience with cloud-based DevOps practices
• Experience with CICD tool integrations (Artifactory, Nexus, SonarQube, Fortify)
• At least 2 years of experience with REST API integrations

Desired Skillset

• AWS Certification
• 5+ years of experience with DevOps tools and software engineering
• Experience with Gitlab
• Experience with Terraform
• Possess Solid communication skills
• Has a strong sense of ownership and willingness to work with cross functional team
• Has a strong technical understanding of applications and DevOps tools and can provide guidance to the DevOps team in this matter

Tools (in priority order):

• Python
• Java/Groovy
• Gitlab
• Docker
• Gitlab (or other CICD orchestration platforms such as Jenkins, Github, etc)
• AWS
• Terraform

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
